RICHMOND, VA – Paragon Training Academy, a premier institution for security professionals, held a graduation ceremony today for 50 new Certified Protection Officers (CPOs) who successfully completed the academy's intensive 12-week training program.
The graduates of Class 25-C were subjected to a rigorous curriculum designed to forge the next generation of elite security operators. The comprehensive training covered a wide array of critical skills, including advanced threat assessment, tactical defensive driving, crisis management, and sophisticated verbal de-escalation techniques designed to mitigate conflicts before they turn violent. A significant portion of the course was also dedicated to emergency medical response, with all graduates earning a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) certification.
The academy's director, Jacob Shaw, a 25-year veteran of the U.S. Secret Service, addressed the graduating class and their families. "These men and women represent the top tier of the private security industry," he stated. "They are not just bodyguards; they are risk managers, advanced first responders, and trusted protectors, capable of operating calmly and effectively in the most demanding environments. We are immensely proud to certify them as Paragon Protection Officers."
The newly certified CPOs are now prepared for deployment in a variety of high-stakes roles, including protecting corporate executives, diplomats, and high-profile individuals. The graduation addresses a growing national demand for highly skilled security professionals who possess both tactical proficiency and strong interpersonal skills.
